About Me

I am a Game Developer who recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in Game Development. My interest in this field has risen from my passion for programming. This combined with the fact that I had a Pentium on which I used to play DOS games, has brought me into this field of Game Development. This is a blog showcasing my works as I began my journey on the path of the Game Developer.

Pixel Art - Penny

The inspiration for Penny was taken from the very same mechanical pencil used to create him. It was a Uni Shalaku that had served me well for almost five years. The character itself has only one eye while the clip holder forms its arms. The rubber grip becomes its mouth which has fangs and to support himself Penny has a rotating bottom which can also be used as a drill.

Pixel Art - Ichino

Ichino is the evil twin brother of Ichigo, the protagonist of a popular anime show called Bleach. As you can see, the concept sketch shows a cute chibi version of Ichigo himself but thanks to my art skills it turned out to be a whole new character. This character really does look evil when viewed in the Pixel by Pixel on Paper version due to the fact that when given a constraint on how many pixels can be used, many features change from the sketched out version.

Design - DVD Cover

Sprac is a concept for a space racing game set in the future. I made a DVD Cover for it as a hands-on experiment with Photoshop's various selection and masking tools.
